SIDEWALK CHALK MURAL
A dedicated area of our parking lot will be devoted to children and youth flexing their creative muscles to create a collaborative mural in sidewalk chalk. All participants will receive a loot bag for their contribution to the mural. All ages are welcome. Chalk will be provided.

CARL WHITE : Where Tiger Sleeps artist in attendance on Sunday from 12-4 Referencing ancient Greek terms mythos and logos, Carl White’s newest series of work positions himself as the conduit to the mythos – the forklore, the fabula – that exist in our modern world. Although Carl’s work almost always explores philosophical themes, this series endeavors to be without intellectual confrontation – to be void of the logical realm of logos. Carl’s particularly lush handling of paint, striking use of color and unique rendering provide us access to where each painting emerged from, where the artist allows the work to, in his words, “speak through me rather than from me.” The result is a body of work with individual
