The Exhibition
The Blackboard Gallery and Shona Rae Studios are located in the historic cSPACE King Edward building. The Commercial gallery hosts the work of 14 local artists. Brett Hollingsworth , Christy Wade, Dee Fontans, Devon Clark, Jackie Anderson, Jennea Frischke, Jazzy Garcia, Lindsey Shechosky, Melanie Archer, Melanie Smit, Peter Sloan, Sarabeth Carnat, Shona Rae, and Sonja Neven. These artists use goldsmith techniques to create one-of-a-kind art pieces using a multitude of mediums. The Blackboard Gallery also features a rotating exhibition of 2D work on “The Wall” opposite the jewellery exhibition. Shona Rae Studios, located in the back of the gallery hosts classes, workshops and bench space to the benefit of artists and amateurs alike.
